The Bay Area Discovery Museum is the leading children's museum dedicated to developing creative minds. Nearly half our total annual budget is dependent upon contributions by community members like YOU! Your donation helps deliver educational programming all year long to thousands of young children. Help Us Grow creativity and innovation throughout the Bay Area with your fully tax-deductible gift of any amount.

A group of Museum Trustees has generously offered a dollar-for-dollar match up to $12,500 for any annual fund gift we receive through the end of the year! In this season of giving, your money can go even further to support the Bay Area Discovery Museum.

Contributions to the Bay Area Discovery Museum Annual Fund are non-membership gifts and are fully tax-deductible

How your gift helps:

• $50 purchases two new trucks for the gravel pit in Lookout Cove or 10 new aprons for our visitors to Tot Spot and Wave Workshop.

• $100 provides Museum admission for 33 children under our scholarship program offering reduced-price visits for school groups serving a population where 50 percent or more of the students qualify for Free and Reduced Price Lunch.

• $250 covers half of the cost for materials to repair and repaint our beloved Bonnie Boat in Lookout Cove or Art Studio 10 supplies for 2,000 children, inspiring creative take home projects and collaborative creations through unique processes and exploration of shapes, colors and textures.

• $500 pays for Museum admission, art activities and performances from a Mexican folklore dance group and a Mariachi band for 35 visitors to our annual Cinco de Mayo festival.
