This promises to be another wonderful summer filled with the joy of hands-on learning. We offer children opportunities to develop creative thinking as they explore, discover, use their imaginations, become immersed, and make connections through our open-ended, child-directed approach. This is not a cookie-cutter camp where every kid comes home with the same project. Here, children choose the directions for the daily activities and bring their imagination to life through fun camp themes all over our 7.5-acre site.

This year, we have three important goals for Discovery Camps:

• Offer children unique experiences that will inspire their creativity in the arts and sciences
• Deliver innovative curriculum based solidly on our open-ended, child-directed philosophy
• Provide families with the highest quality program possible

We love getting to know your families each summer and we especially love it when we have campers who come for multiple weeks. Campers who come to camp for many weeks develop more solid relationships with our staff and other campers. In addition, as their comfort with the camp increases, we see their confidence and curiosity blossom. This year we’re proud to offer a new multiple week discount; enjoy an extra $25 off your total registration fees when you sign up for four weeks, $50 off for five weeks, $75 off for six weeks, and $100 off if you sign up for seven or more weeks.

Also new this year, we’ve expanded our popular 3-year-old camp, Big Discoveries, to accommodate more children. Now we’ll be able to offer the same adult to child ratio of 1:4 with up to 16 children each week.

Every year, we look forward to hearing from families we’ve known for years, and talking with parents who are new to Discovery Camps.
