Summer Discovery Camps 2010

Small classes, BIG fun!  Join the Bay Area Discovery Museum this summer for non-stop fun and adventure for 3 to 8-year-olds! Sign up for a different Discovery Camp each week and celebrate the joy of guided exploration and open-ended creative play. Facilitated by experienced educators and camp counselors, Discovery Camps engage young developing minds and bodies through innovative, interactive learning experiences which inspire creative thinking. Our camp atmosphere is friendly, welcoming and non-competitive. Camp content is a vehicle through which children develop intellectually, emotionally and physically. We provide open-ended, child-directed experiences with a focus on process, not product. This enables children to enjoy the freedom of independent discovery and test their limits safely.
