We accept cash, checks, AMEX, MC & VISA. An ATM is available in the Entry Pavilion.

Entrances to all exhibition halls are wheelchair accessible.

Tuesday - Friday: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Closed Mondays, except when noted.

The Museum is closed on Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Years Day and for a week in September for maintenance.

Please Note

The Museum will be closed Monday, September 6 for Labor Day. The Museum will be closed for annual maintenance Monday, September 13 - Monday, September 20. The Museum will reopen on Tuesday, September 21.

Free Days

Please join us for free on the first Wednesday of each month, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., for a full day of creative and fun experiences for all.

Learn more about how we strive to provide creative play for all children through our Celebrating Community program, offering subsidized admission and special programs to over 30,000 visitors annually.
