The Bay Area Discovery Museum is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing the kind of early childhood education (disguised as play!) that so many loyal supporters recognize as a key ingredient for the future of the Bay Area as innovator and leader in the fields of science, technology, the arts and environmental stewardship.

The Museum’s goal is to build kids who are observant, curious and questioning, and with the help of foundation giving, we are continuously exploring ways in which young children can better prepare for a future that will certainly involve unprecedented change and opportunity.

Your generosity enables the Museum to meet the significant costs of running the Museum, professional development opportunities for teachers, environmental stewardship, scholarships, free and discounted admissions and transportation – and helps us maintain a reputation as one of the best children’s museum’s in the nation. Partner with us in offering educational programs that change young lives through place-based arts and science in one of the most unique settings anywhere.
